DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY
Department of Orthopaedics was established in 1975. Department has a separate OT building with minor OT and separates exclusive Ortho IP block with three floors. IP block has separate male, female & Paediatric wards. Totally 90 beds are available with 30 for each unit. Yearly 6 MS(Ortho) post-graduate students are being trained in our institution. OP and OT function daily. Other than routine trauma cases, special surgeries like cervical spine surgeries, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, paediatric deformity correction are all being carried out. Apart from regular Ortho OT, as per TAEI protocol efforts are being made for emergency surgery within 6 hours of injury by establishing separate Ortho Trauma OT. Emergency Medicine department is being launched shortly. Overall the department is being grown in stature, quality and efficiency day by day.

- 8 bedded fully equipped exclusive SICU
