INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOLUNTARY BODY DONATION
The following are the instructions for persons willing to register for voluntary whole body donation.
- The registrant should bring one copy of his/her self-attested photo copy of Aadhar card.
- They have to bring 5 recent passport size photographs.
- The request have to be submitted in Rs.20/Rs.100 stamp paper which has to be signed by the registrant & his/her legal heirs.The content that has to be given in the stamp paper is attached.
- The above documents have to be submitted to General section, Chengalpattu Medical College in any working day from Monday to Friday between 10a.m to 5.00p.m.

GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO THE DONOR AND NEAR RELATIVES
- The legal heirs or near relatives may be requested to intimate the death of the donor to the Dean Chengalpattu Medical College. Ph:04427426566 / RMO Ph:04429545055
- The body of the said donor after death, should be transported without lapse of time (preferably within 8-24 hours) to the Chengalpattu Medical College / Hospital, Chengalpattu.
- The said body should be accompanied by a death certificate issued by a competent authority clearly indicating the cause and time of death.
- The body will be received on all working days from 8.00 to 2.00 pm at the Department of Anatomy. During non-working hours and holidays, the body can be kept in the Mortuary of the hospital on necessary request to the Resident Medical Officer of the hospital and the same intimated to the Department at the earliest opportunity.
- The Death should be natural and /or due to naturally occurring diseases. The body will not be accepted in cases of Medico-legal issues, suicide and poisoning.
