                       Department of Urology at Chengalpattu Medical College has played an integral part in providing Urological care to a wide section of patients in catchment area of this institute. A variety of common urological problems including stones, urinary infections, prostate diseases, urethral stricture disease, malignancies, andrology, neurourology, urogynecology etc., are dealt with regularly. Urology Department started functioning in 2006 and Post Graduate teaching program in Urology was initiated in the department from 2019 onwards to impart training in Urology with intake of 2 PG’s per year. OPD and IPD (40 beds) facilities are available.
